Wayne and Tammy started Meadesmith School of Music and Drama in 1996. Since 1989 they have been teaching piano and guitar to students ages four and above, beginner to advanced levels, in all styles of music.
But their skills do not end at teaching music. For over 15 years they have directed children's versions of Broadway musicals such as High School Musical, Joseph, Oliver, Les Miserables, and many more. They have also worked with children as music and drama teachers for the London Board of Education, Maple Leaf Montessori Schools Inc. and the York Board of Education.
Qualifications:
Tammy and Wayne both graduated with honours degrees in Music Education and Theatre Arts at The University of Western Ontario. They then went on to get their Education degrees at U.W.O. and are certified music and drama school teachers in Ontario. They are also both certified to teach all levels of the Royal Conservatory of Music program.
